It Always Can Get Worse is the first taste of Tex Perkins and Matt Walker’s forthcoming debut album, Before The Show. The acoustic track reflects on pushing through the hard times without getting stuck in your own pain, reminding us to be grateful — as others have been through, and got through, worse. The song unfolds in a way that can catch you off guard — something that carries across the whole album.

Before The Show is a testament to the belief in a song, and the authenticity of this release simply affirms the standing of Perkins and Walker as artists at the top of their game. Album to be released late August and ahead of this (sure to sell out) show.

Tex Perkins and Matt Walker will be performing live on Sunday 18th October 2026 at the ‘NEW’ Big Easy Radio site, 90 Malpas Road, McLaren Vale SA 5171.
